PWL Teams/Players
The Pleasantview Wiffle League began using formal teams in 2006, when it also began to officially keep statistics,
and the "Original Four" are the Larapin' Lloyds, Boys State Buckeyes, Boarder Jumpers, and The
Douche Quarter Dozen. In 2007 two teams were added, the Bombers, the Giraffes, and Pimpin'
Pete's Wiffleballas (then, informally called Pete and the Girl's. The Giraffes and Pete's existed in the
2006 season, although in some fragmented form, never lasting an entire season as a team and being consolidated onto
another team.) That same year, the Boys State Buckeyes and Douche 1/4 Dozen changed their
names to the Valiant V-necks and the Blue Barracuddas, respectively. Following the 2007 season, the Bombers
and the Giraffes disintigrated into thin air, and Pimpin' Pete's Wiffleballas disbanded and were renamed
the Hitmen, who were then disbanded in 2008 after winning the WWS. Then V-necks were then changed to
the Rednecks for the 2008 season, and the Circus Freaks joined the mix of teams, essentially replacing
the Giraffes. In 2009, the Freaks changed their name to the Black Betty's and won the
Championship.

*Official records for the 2004 and 2005 seasons do not exist in
their entirety. Personal statistics and team records were not officially recorded until the 2006 season; however, team tournement
wins have been recorded and the winners of each tournement are correct, although the exact record (wins to loses) are not
officailly recorded. Therefore, team tournement championship wins are available and accurate, but team regular season and
playoff records are not available prior to the 2006 season. (All records available on this site have been updated as of 26
March 2010.)
**Both the Larrupin' Lloyd's and the Border Jumpers claim
The PWL Wiffle World Series Championship for 2004 because Lloyd and Meat were on the team that won it but argue
over who was actually the team captain. They fought a death-match following the 2005 Championship game to determine
the winner, but both wiffleballers went home crying when their Mom stepped in saying "You boys better stop that or I'll give
you something to fight about."
It's all good.
