Team History
One of the most culturally diverse (and inconsistant teams, depending on which side of the bed that Meat wakes up on, since its glory days in the early years of the PWL,) the Boarder Jumpers have been one of the winningest teams in the league. The always but sometimes surprisingly not visibly tough, BJ's were named such in 2006 when then landed the first and only African American to play in the PWL, BK (although this was not BK's first team,) Danny, who grew one of the best Jew-fro's in the history of the league, and Meat, who, during the summer months (and the winter months,) begins to look more and more like a Mexican. Hence, the name Boarder Jumpers was created to memorialize the cultural diversity within the league and because Mexican's are sometimes stereotypically known for jumping boarders.

One of the "Origional Four" and behind team captain Meat the BJs have put together consistent seasons in the PWL but in recent years have fallen out of major contention, making way for other teams like the Hitmen, Barracudas, and Black Betty's to have success. Early in BJ's history, they were constantly in contention with the Lloyd's for the WWS Championship, and were led by the then record-setting seasons for Meat. In addition, they claim a share of the 2004 PWL Wiffle World Series title, along with the first two tourny championships in 2005, and a Lloyd-a-palooza win in 2006 to become the first team to win at least a share of each tournement chamionship in the PWL.

Although a good season in 2007, they were stopped short of additional championship wins due to the dominant play of the Larrupin Lloyd's (garnering 3 of 4 'ships) and the cinderalla win by the Giraffes in Lloyd-a-palooza. After the team started to decline in success in 2008, which was marked by the declining success of Meat's pitching and the increased talent in the league, Meat went on hiatus at the end of the season and returned in 2009 to an improved record for the BJ's.
